On this cover, "Ruby" of Forest Hills puts "her" own spin on the idea of nudism. Defying the 1950's feminine ideal of well roundedness inspired by Marilyn Monroe and others, Ruby shows off her chiseled facial features, short hair, thick forearms and abdominal definition. Perhaps she was just ahead of her time, foreshadowing the likes of more svelte and fit woman of today's pop culture including the likes of Angelina Jolie or Hillary Swank.
